Lisa Robinson grew up on Long Island , New York. She is a graduate of Spelman College and earned an MFA from the American Film Institute (AFI).
Lisa was a participant in the Warner Bros. Sitcom Writer’s Workshop and has been a finalist in such screenwriting competitions as Urban Insider 5-5-5, Hollywood Black Film Festival and most recently the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards for her short film “ Marathon ”. In 2011, Lisa received Outstanding Directing from the Los Angeles Web Festival for the webseries, “The Punanny Diaries”.
Phill Branch is a graduate of the American Film Institute (MFA, Screenwriting) and an Assistant Professor of English and Film Studies at his undergraduate alma mater Hampton University. Branch is a recent National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) Diversity Producing Fellow. In 2007, he was awarded a Screenwriting Fellowship from the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC). Branch created and serves as a writer-producer on the award-winning web series The PuNanny Diaries.
Previously, Branch was the Executive Vice President of Set Resources Entertainment Marketing. Phill directed the company’s efforts in film integration and managed the product placement initiatives of clients including Visa and Monster Energy Drink. He has been involved in securing high profile integrations on over 100 television shows in addition to several film projects.
He is also a columnist for Written Magazine and contributes to Shadow & Act as well as other publications.
